BATTLE GROUND VILLAGE’S OUTDOOR MARKET INVITES ARTISANS, FARMERS
AND FOOD CARTS TO REGISTER FOR 2013 SEASON

2013 will mark the fifth year Battle Ground Village has organized an Outdoor Market at its location, and it gets bigger and better every year. There is still room for vendors. Battle Ground Village encourages anyone interested in vending to visit their website for registration and more information: www.bgvillage.com, or contact Susan Walters, Market Manager, at 360-608-9778.

The season is every Saturday, beginning April 27th through September 28th. There are events planned for every weekend, with live music and family entertainment. The Opening Day event is a Home and Garden Fair. A few of the other events planned for the summer are: Flowers for a Cause (a benefit for RockSolid), Mother’s Day at the Market, Armed Forces Celebration Day, Recycle Fair, Kid’s Day, Public Service Day, Health & Wellness Event, Slo Pok’s Car Club Cruise-In, and two Community Garage Sales.

“We have an event planned for every weekend!” says Susan Walters, Market Manager. “We want Battle Ground Village’s Outdoor Market to be THE place to bring your family and friends on Saturdays. Shop, eat, listen to music, and, if you have children, watch them enjoy bouncing on the bounce house, getting their face painted, or engaging in a craft or activity.”

Registration is open and the fees are incredibly reasonable, especially if you sign up as a Full-Time Vendor. Full-Time Vendors will have the opportunity to choose their space, which will be theirs for the whole season. If requested, electricity is available on a first come, first serve basis, at no extra cost. There is also the option to be a Part-Time or Casual Vendor. The Market is also encouraging any non-profit organizations to sign up and participate, free of charge.

“We look forward to reconnecting with the vendors from years past and welcoming new vendors to the Outdoor Market,” says Jennifer Riddle, Market Coordinator. “Our terrific vendors are helpful and excited to be there and are what make the Battle Ground Village Outdoor Market stand out. They support and inspire community.”

Please visit www.bgvillage.com to learn more, register, and pay (via paypal) for your space at the Outdoor Market.
